  Clearly, this is going to be super-popular - please do this. Even better would be to preserve metadata (faces, geotags, titles, albums, events) in the process - Phoshare can export with this data, and embed the data in the photos themselves.

  As the title suggests, an iPhoto plugin to export photos to OpenPhoto.
